Saroj Khan's legendary Bollywood movie choreographer died on July 3 due to cardiac arrest at 71 years old. She was admitted to Mumbai's Guru Nanak Hospital a month ago after she griped of difficulty in breathing.


Since June 17, Saroj Khan was admitted to the hospital after she griped of breathing troubles. She had tested negative for the corona virus disease (Covid-19). Woke up to the tragic news that veteran choreographer Saroj Khan popularly known as Masterji is no more. She made the dance look simple practically like anyone can move, an immense misfortune for the Bollywood Movie Business.


Saroj Khan born in 1948, started her career as a child artist at the age of 3. Graduating to a back-up dancer in the 1950s.


Saroj Khan, Born as Nirmala Nagpal popularly known as ‘Masterji’ in Bollywood. In her 40 years, long careers Saroj directed over 2000 songs. Through Nazarana Saroj Khan began her career by playing the young Shyama However, under the guidance of dance director B. Sohanlal soon became a background dancer. In Bollywood, Saroj most famous collaborations were with actors Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi. 


In the wake of helping as a move choreographer for a couple of years, her first free work came in Geeta Mera Naam (1974). Saroj got saw after she arranged for Sridevi in Mr. India's song "Hawa Hawai" (1987). She worked with Sridevi in films like Nagina and Chandni. This was trailed by her drawn out association with Madhuri Dixit during the 1990s in songs like "Ek Do Teen", "Murmur Ko Aaj Kal Hai Intezaar", "Dhak Karne Laga", "Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai", and "Tamma".


Saroj Khan who has won three National Awards for Best Choreography for her work in Devdas, Jab We Met and a Tamil film named Shringaram in 2007


Saroj Khan also worked as a judge on TV reality show between 2005-2010.
